Shbep. —At the Addington Yards, on Wednesdiy, owing to tho very small supply of fat sheep there was a good demand, and the few lines offered found buyers at an average of fully I9 per head in advance of last week's rates. Prime cross-breds Bold from 12a to 12s 9d; medium do, at 10b and Us; good merinos, to 83. We quote If d to 2dper lb, aa an average for mutton. Fat lambs. —A large supply offered, for which description, the biddings were animated; best lots sold from 8s 6d to 10s; good do, from 7a to Ba. A large number of Bfcore sheep were offered j cross-bred ewes (full monthed) realised 63 6d; merino wethers (full and broken mouthed) sold at 4b 6d and 4s 9d. Cattle. —A fair supply to hand, the bulk of which changed hands at prices about equal to late rate?. We quote 20s per 1001b aa an average. A few lines of store cattle were yarded, hut there was no alteration in prices compared to late sales. Star Office, Thursday.
