But Mister Lingard 'says, say a bo, Them messengers left hastilee. Through them 'ere low Theayter chaps, We've had some very nnsty slaps ; ADd what I says is, they be (The belfry door was jtist then slammed), And Mister Lingard says, says he. This bisness riles mo awfnlloe. And now the Dean has bin and writ That this 'oro practice we must quit ; He says we keep it up too late, And ntusn't stop ere arter eight. But Mister Lingard says, says he, The Deun ain't goiug to euchre me 1 Let's bluff him, boys. Let's say wa meaa To reverence our worthy Dean.
