[Rbuter's Telegrams.] CAIRO, Jan. 8. The French and Englißh ConsulGenerals at the Egyptian Court have sent an identical note to the Khedive, intimating that England and France have resolved to maintain his Majesty's authority against any rebellion or other disorder which may occur within his realm. MELBOURNE, J as. 9. There are now six cases of small-pox among the Garonne's passengers. One | case has reached what is known as the I semi confluent stage. It is regarded as serious, and likely to end fatally. A private telegram from tbe Mauritius reports that prices for sugar have advanced twenty shillings per ton all round.
