«. [Rkutek's Telkgkabis.J LONDON, Nov. 28. Execution of Lefroy. Lefroy, the Brighton murderer, was hanged to-day at Newgate Gaol. Wreck with Loss of Life. Telegrams have been received from Hong Kong, reporting the wreck of the iron ship Bolton Abbey, 1150 tons, of Liverpool, while on a voyage from Newcastle to Manilla. The captain and all the crew, except three, were saved, and have reached Hong Kong. Meeting of Parliament. Parliament is expected to be summoned for the despatch of business on Jan. 19 next. BERLIN, Nov. 28. Kaiser Wilhelm. The Emperor William, who has for some time past been severely indisposed, has so far recovered that he is now able to take carriage exercise. LONDON, Nov. 28. Commercial Intelligence. Consols have advanced to 100^. New Zealand securities are unchanged at the following quotations : — Five per cent 10-40 loan, 104 ; 5 per cent 1889 loan, ]04; 4£ per cent 1879-1904 loan, 100 i Adelaide wheat, ex store, remains at 565 ; New Zealand ditto, at 52s 6d. Adelaide flour, ex Btore, 425. Australian tallow — Best beef, 39s ; best mutton, 41s 6d. At the wool sale to-day, 10,500 bales were offered, making a total of 48,000 catalogued since the opening. More enquiry was experienced, but the de- j mand was principally speculative.
