Henry Baveridge M'lntosh, manager Of the Walton Park Coal and Pottery Company, was arreßted on Saturday on a charge of forgery. It has transpired that he has been in the habit of collecting monthly accounts, ranging from £20 to £60. from tho customers of tho Company. The cash he received in reßpect of theso accounts he appears to havo appropriated to his own use, und for tho amounts of them ho lodged in tho JBivnk to the credit of tho Company bills purporting to be drawn by theeo customers, and these bills vero duly diet-dinted.
