Passengers— Me^dame3 Fabling, Savory, Messrs Baden, Uailos, Ward, Boland**, Aickler, Xerr, Garden.
The st-jamers Napier, f.-om Kaikoura and Wellington, Wakatipu, f.-om Port Chalmers, and Taiaroa, from Nelson and Wellington, arrived this -corning. A brigantine, supposed to be the Sword Fish from Hobart, was sigiiaiied this morning.
The Saner Lass for Wellington, and Elizabeth Curie for Waitara, s liled yesterday. The barque Examiner, Captain Houghton, ar. -fired tram Newcastle yesterday, after a. smart passage, She left -Newcastle on August 5, and arrived off the Heads on August 13, on he*- way to Timaru, where f>ha arrivud next day, and was •rderedon here The barque made the passage from hero to Brisbane in twelve days.
