London, Dec. 8. The bitterness of feeling in Ireland over the land question is being intensified by sectarian animosities. The Orange Societies are organising movements throughout the country in opposition to the Land Leaguers, and the hostility between the two parties is diily increasing. It is feared that a serious collision will take place, and the authorities are accordingly making extensive preparations for quelling disturbances.
An alarming accident haß taken place at Woolwich Arsenal. A rocket accidentally became ignited, and communicating with other materials, caused a terrific explosion. A portion of the araenal was greatly damaged and a number of personß were seriously injured, though no fatal results are yet reported.
