[Reutbb's Telegbams.] LONDON, Dec. 13. Dark Mustering. The latest intelligence to hand from the Cape states that the Boera are threatening a rebellion. This, however, is not expected to take place. The Iron Hand Wanted. A Cabinet Council was held to-day by Ministers, Mr W. E. Porster, Chief Secretary for Ireland, having insisted upon adopting coercive measures in Ireland. The immediate meeting of Parliament is quite possible. PARIS, Dec. 13. Obituary. Madame Thiers, wife of the late M. Tbiers, formerly President of the Trench Republic, is dead. CALCUTTA, Dec. 13. Almost Hopeless. The Marquis of Ripon has had a relapße, and his medical attendants state that he is much worse. MELBOURNE, Dec. 13. A Good Beating. In the match between the Australian Eleven and Tictorian Representative Eleven, the latter continued their .second innings and were all disposed of for 145 runs. The Australians then went in for their second innings, and after losing two wickets for 24 runs, •won the match by eight wickets. [The scores of the second day's play were evidently wrongly telegraphed. 167 should probably have been 67.]
