PARIS, Oct. 20. Will Appeal to the Courts. In consequence of the action which is being taken by the French Government to cany out the March decrees and complete the expulsion of the members of all unauthorised religious orders residing in France, the leaders of the Carmelites have determined to contest at law the legality of the action of the Government in ordering their expulsion, and the necessary proceedings have been commencod.
