The schooner Victor arrived on Sunday from the Solomon Islands, with Captain M'Laughlin and seventeen members ofthe Chandernagore Expedition. Two died on the voyage of fever and ague. The steamer Genii is still at New Ireland, bufc no immigrants are aboard. Tho preposed settlement has been abandoned. The Victor prosecuted an unsuccessful search at Bonganville and other islands for Captain Brodie and tho missing crew of the schooner Ariel.
