labour in oqual amount to that employed by tho Board.— Letters woro read— From the Drainage Board, granting permission to tho Board to fill in tho drain on tho Canal Beservo road as far as the No. 1 drain. Tho Surveyor was instructed to invito tendors for filling in samo from Dudley creek to Shirloy road.— From Mr J. Webster, relativo to tho width of a road laid out by Mr Camoron. Tho Clerk was instructed to reply that tho Board cannot sco its way to alter their resolution.—Tho Clerk was instructed to write to tho Drainago Board, informing them of the following resolution of tho Board i— "That this Board is of opinion that tho Avon Dis< trict is entitled to additional representation on tho Drainago Board, and that they be requostod to take stops to havo an additional member given to tho district in the Amendment Act to bo introduced during the noxt session of the General Asßombly."— Accounts were passed to the amount of £138 6s 9d and ordered to be paid, and tho Board adjournod.
