CHRISTCHURCH.

This Day. (Before His Honor Judge Ward.) BLUETT AND OTHBBS V. CBAIG. Messrs Izard aud Loughnan wero for the plaintiffs, and Messrs Harper, Harper and Scott for the defendant. In this case William James Giffard Bluett, Bichard Thomas Wobb, and Frederick Jameson, carrying on business as auctioneers and estate agents at Leeston and Southbridge, under the firm and stylo of W. J. G. Bluett and Co., wero the plaintiffs. Tbe defendant was the creditors' trustco in bankruptcy of tho property of John Manson (T. B. Craig, accountant). Tho sui. was brought to recover the sum of £281 Os 3d, boing tho valuo of certain goods of the plaintiffs detained by the defendant. On the case being called on thero was no appearance on tho part of either plaintiffs or 1 defendant, and His Honor adjourned the Court for ten minutes. On resuming the caso was again called on, and there being still no appearance the case was ordered to be struok out of tho list. The next sitting of tho District Court will be on Jan. 20.
