NEW SHEEP DIP.
Yejtesday morning.^ at the invitation of Messrs E. Donibrain and Sons, Cashcl street; east, a party, including tho leading stock and station agents and several sheep owners from the country districts met at Addington for tho purpose of testing Little's Chemical Fluid, a new non-poisonous dip for sheep. A number of cheep affected with lie© arid ticks wore put through the cleansing process, and on examination a few minutos afterwards thoso present failed to find a living insect. Tho general opinion was that, for simplicity of application, for destroying vermin, aud good effect on the wool, it fully maintained ita character as one of the best preparations of the kin I that has ever been offered to the public. The sheep wero dipped in full fleece, the strength of the wash used being one gallon of fluid to 100 gallons of cold water. The time of soaking each sheep was about 20 seconds. Tho sheep dipped will bo on view at tho Addington saleyards to-morrow.
