This mail will be duo in London ou Oct. 28. Tuesday, Sept. 16. For Anstralian Colonies, por express train, to connect with Tararua at Fort Chalmers, at 7.30 a.m. The next mails for Ihe United Kingdom, via Briudisi aud Southampton (for correspondence addressed per either of these routes only), will be closed at Christchurch on Sept. 24. The mail via Brindisi will be dne in London ou Nov. 17, and the mail via Southampton on Nov. 24. Note.— A post-offlce called Mayfleld has been ostabli.hed on the south sido of the Hinds, near tbo forks of the river. Mails for Mayfleld close at Christohnrch each Saturday at 7.30 a.m., arriving at 1.45 p.m. same day. Mails for Christchurch closo at Mayfield each Saturday at 7 a.m., arriving at 2 p.m. same day.
