CANTERBURY JOCKEY CLUB HANDICAP.
The following are the weights for tho Canterbury Jockey Club Handicap of 500 bovs, added to a sweepstakes of 20 sovs. Second horse to receive 50 bovs from the stake: third horse to savo his stako. Nominations, 2 sovs, to go to the fund. Horses to be nominated to tho Secretary C.J.O. on or before 8 p.m. August 1. The handicap will appear about Sept. 1. Acceptances, with 5 sovs, on Oct. 1; 5 bovb on day of genoral entry, and 10 sovs by 9 p.m. on the evening beforo tho race. Two miles: —
