Wales and Queensland, per Wakatipu, at 3 p.m. ; late fee letters, 3.15 p.m.; guard's van, 4 p.m. train. , ; For Kaikoura and Northern Ports, per Hu'a. The guard's van* must not be used for this mail. For Wanganui, per St Kilda, at 3 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.15 p.m ; guard's van, 4 p.m train. Saturday, August 30. For Otago, per Hawea. For Northern Ports, per Ladybird at 7 p.m. The guard's van mnst not be used for this mail. The next mail for the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, will be closed at ChiistohuroU on Sept 12, and will be due in London on Oct. 28. The next mails for the United Kingdom, via Brindisi and Southampton (for correspondence addressed per either of these routes only), will to oloßed at Christohurch on Sept. 21. The mail via Brindisi will bo doe in London on Nov. 17, and the mall via Southampton on Nov. 24. Notice— Only Town rate of poatago (Id per half ounce) is charged on letters posted in ChristchAiren, Sydenham, or suburban receiving boxes, for delivery by the local lettor carriers throughout these boroughs and BUburbs.
