Mails per Arawata will be closed as under :— For the United Kingdom, Continent of Eu-opo, vi& Brindisi and Southampton (for correspondence addressed per either of these routes only), India, South Africa, Egypt, Australian Colonies, Otago fto., ordinary letters at 1 p.m., lato fee letters at 1.45 p.m. Books and newspapers at 12 noon, registered letters at 12 noon, monoy orders at 11.30 a.m., guard's van. 2.40 p.m. train. Wednesday, July 80. For the United Kingdom, Continent of Ei'tope, vi& Brindisi and Southampton (for correspondence addressed per either of the routes only), Australian Colonies, fto., per express train to Bluff, to connect with 8.8. Arawata, at 7.30 a.m. Thursday, July 31. For Noi them ports, per Albion. The mail viA Brindisi will bo dne in London on Sept. 22, and tho mail vi_ Southampton on Sept. 29. The noxt mail for the United Kingdom vi Ban Francisco will be closed at Cbristdhurch on August 15, and will be dne in London on Sept. 30. Note.— As tho tnin which leaves Sheffield for Christchuroh on Wednesdays and Baturday* at 12.45 p.m. will be discontinued at the end of July, the West Coast mails will, after August 1, leave Sheffield each Wednesday and Saturday at 5.5 p.m., and arrive in Christchuroh at 7.45 p.m. Tho name of the Post-office at Kowai Pass has beea changed to bpringileld.
