POSTAL.

Councillor Joyce reported that, in company with His Worship the Mayor, he waited upon the Chief Postmaster relative to the establishing of a Post Office in the Borough. That gentleman had recommended them to endeavour to secure a combined Post Office, Telegraph Office, Money Order Office, and Savings Bank, and expressed himself as being favourable to the scheme.

The Town Clerk read a copy of tho application, which had been forwarded to the Hon the Postmaster-General.

The Council then adjourned.
