[SPEOIAI/.J JtTLY 21. Mr W. Murray was to-day eleoted Mayor of Port Chalmers. At St Joseph's Churoli yesterday morning, Bishop Moran referred to Father Chiniguv as one of the fulse prophets, whom the Bible predicted would arise. Ho asked the Catholics of the city not to act like those in Hobart Town, but to pay no intention to what Chiniquy eaiil. He was a misled man, and the only thing they could do was to pray for him.
