AKAROA AND LITTLE RIVER RAILWAY.

I Tho contract for tho formation of about Seventeen miles of the Akaroa and Littlo [Rivor Railway has been let to Mr P. M'Grath, contractor, of Rangiora, who is now constructing tho extension of tho north line from Amberloy to tho Waipara rivor. The price of tho contract is said to be £14,700, and the time in which it has to be completed is nine mor ths from the dato of signing the contract. iJudging by the expedition with which Mr M'Grath has proceeded with his present contract, there can bo no doubt that the new work will be duly constructed in time, and that ho will give satisfaction in the work done. .
