Mails oloso at the Chief Post Office for tho following plaoos (subject to the necessary alterations) as under :— Friday, Jrnie 13. For Northern Ports, per Oreti, at 1.80 p.m. ; late fee letters, 2.lo p.m.; guard's' van, 2.40 p.m. train. Saturday, Jane 14 For Northern ports of New Zealand, per Hawea, at 6.30 pm. For Akaroa and Otago, per Ladybird, at 8 p.m. The late letter box, guard's van, must not be used for the mails per Hawea and Ladybird. Tho next mail for tho United Kingdom via San Francisco, will be closed at Chiistchuroh on June 20, and will be dne in London on Aui?. 5. The next mails for the United K-gdom via Brindisi and Southampton (for specialty addressed letters only) will be closed at Ohristohuroh on June 80. The mail vi- Brindisi will be due in London en Any 25, and the mail via Southampton on Sept. 1.
