GTSBOBNE, Juxe 11. A gentleman has received a telegram from a high official, stating that a portion of the confiscated lands will bo giren back to the Taranaki Natives, in fulfilment of tho promises of Sir Donald M'Lean, and that Mr K«ea has been appointed by Government to investigate the claims on their behalf. Another person heard yesterday, on good authority in Wellington, that hostilities were considered almost inevitable.
