THB NATIVE DISTURBANCE.

With reference to fche New Plymouth disturbance, it is understood that Mr Cover- 1 bill is in; communication with the Govern-/ ment, and does not consider the circumstances so oritical as have been reported. Mr Parrisl in the absence of Major Brown, is making all possible enquiries into fche matter, and hei informs Government that no land has been entered upon except Mr Caverhill's paddocks.
