THEATRE ROYAL.

'.William Tkll" and " Jvatukeink anb

Petkuciuo."

The management at this Theatre presented their patrons last night with an entertainment which might be fairly called a bonne houchs but for tho suggestion contained in thab title that the previous entertainments had been distasteful. Mr Clinton was quito at home as Larnom. Miss Annie Mayor played Albort with an artless simplicity which was specially charming. Mr Sterling Whyte made an eloquent Melotal. Mr Harry Power made a good Michael, and Misß Navaro a pleasing Emma. In Shakospoarc'a comedy tho raoy fun was thoroughly brought out by Mr Creswick as Potruchio, Mr Sterling Whyto as Baptiste, Mr J. Tyrrell as tho Tailor, Mr H. Power as Grumio, and Miss Helen Ashton as Katherine. Tho programme will comprise " William Tell," the second act of " Richard III.," and the first act of " Macbeth," with Locke's music,
