Tho judges awarded tho first prize to Messrs Scott Brothers, and second to Mr Watters ; but there can be little doubt that their verdict should have been reversed, as Mr Wattera' range, for tho price, was by far the most complete and best on the ground. The first prize one was priced at £20, without a boiler, but with double oven, and £30 with a boiler. Mr Wattera', on tho contrary, with boiler and good roomy oven, was priced at fill 10s; Thiß also had a very good contrivance attached to it, in the shape of a moveablo iron fire back, and by means of two handles tho fire, when required to be brought forward could be done bo." 8795 F~.
