This Day.
(Before G. Leslie Lee and H. Allwright, Esqs.) Lasobny. — Arthur 0. Applin was charged with stealing moneys, the property of Captain Robertson, master of the barque Cape linistorre, while on the voyage from London to this port. Accused having only been given into custody hut night was, at the request of the police, remanded. Assault.— Captain Day, master of the American brigantine Star, wao charged with assaulting W. Sheehan, a seaman on board that vessel. * Mr Nalder appeared for tho complainant. The case was adjourned until Saturday next, in order that the American Consul might be seen regarding the matter. A further charge against the mate of the vessel -was also adjourned until Saturday.
