Tho above Board met on Friday lasfc j present — Messrs R. Clephane (Chairman), W. Hawker, W. Attwood, and J. O'Neill. -

Iho Clerk reported the receipts for the fortnight to be £12 17s 2d. — Tlie Chairman reported the result of the interview with Committee of Selwyn County Council.— The Clerk was instructea to write to Drainage Board, informing them of the level the Board wants the footpath on the South side of the Ferry road. — Correspondence was read — From Messrs Corkslpy and Son, re extension of time to complete contract. Ono month was granted. — From Mr W. Sparke, re verandah in front of store at Ashbourne. Granted, subject to the usual conditions. — From Mr A. Appleby, re soil at Sumner. Granted, subject to reference to Foreman as to place ifc can be obtained. — From Mr J. H. Stringer, calling attontion to certain gorse fences. To be attended to. — From Public \Vork3 Department, asking for plans of district. Enquiry to bo made as to cost of getting plan of district lithographed. — A tender was accepted for each of the works advertised, and after passing accounts for £137 8s 9d the Board adjourned.
