AMBERLEY.

[special to the star.] Jan. 21. James Ashworth, a carpenter residing in Amberley, met with a serious accident last evening afc Waikari. He is engaged in the erection of a building, and was in fche act; of putting up the barge boards when a whirlwind came upon him suddenly, blowing him off fche ladder and breaking his leg above the ancle. He was brought as quickly as possible to Amberley, where he was attended fco by Dr Morris.
