Chapel were blown down this morning. The gale was very strong. The ketch Forest Queen, employed in taking cargo from the Hydrabad, was driven ashore about one mile from that vessel in a heavy north-west gale this morning. She is likely to prove a total loss. She is insured in the New Zealand Company for £750, about two-thirds of her value.
