IL Jan. 9. / As soon as the 60 ton steam crane for the harbour works is delivered, rapid progress will be made, as about 60 blocks ranging from 25 to 30 tons are ready to be laid. The Harbour Board calculate they will have at least £100,000 still in hand after paying for the k 3OO feet mole now under contract. A number of sections of land, 2£ miles from Timaru, were sold to-day, and averaged £221 per acre.
