Wednesday, Nor. 20. (Boforo W. Donald, Esq., R.M.) Absent Without Lea vb.— Richard Tay lor, a seaman belonging to tho U.S. brigantino Star was charged by Captain Day with this offence, and ordered on board. — Thomas Northcroft, charged with being absent from tho barque Alary Millar, was also sent on board his vessel. Rkvusal of Duty.— B. Ferris, a Boaman on board the ship Hydaspos, charged by Captain Babot with this offence, was ordered to bo sent on board tho ship. Civil Case. — Wheeler v. Reeves ; claim, £15s} Mr 11. N, Naldcr for the defendant. This was a claim for alleged damage to plaintiff's fence by fire in Sept., 1877. Judgment for dofendant, with costs 235, arid solicitor's fee, 21s.
