Saxe oi» Middle Pauk Yeanlings. • Messrs J. T. Ford and Co., at Millstt's Repository, held the second annual salp of the Middle Park yearlings yesterday. Mr Newton mounted the rostrum and said that 1113 instructions were the same as last year — to sell ■without the slightest reserve to the highest bidder. He hoped tlie bidding would be spirited, seeing that tho last time ho sold, every lot was knocked down to tlie highest bidder. Tho first brought into tlio ring was the Opera — Traducer filly. She showed great quality' and substance, and combining as she does the II Barbiere and IVaduccr blood, was much sought after by racing men. Tho price she was solrl for was not near hervaluc; -nevertheless she brought considerably more than any of the others. !Next to come in was ttip Moss Rose — Castaway filly. This was a nice one, -and showed much ihore v quality than her half brother York, who was solcVby Mr Barker for 330 guineas, after running second to Mr Rodwood's 3fat.at.or. Red Hose contributed the la?t tho Middle Park iillies, and this animal was the pick of the lot. Her strain of blood is a shade belter than -either of tlie ofchers/comljining as she does the Sir JTercules, 1 Camden, ll' Barbiora, Traducer, and Albany blood. Mr Redwood, no very bad judge,' 'would net allow this filly to pass into other hands than his, and secured her at a very low figure. The Patricienne — Castaway colt was a fine, well [jrown youngster, anil one that promises to make a useful cross country horse.
