DETERMINED SUICIDE.
'♦» Shortly before eight o'olock yesterday morning Sergeant Beck wss informed tbat a woman named Margaret Curry, domestio servant in the employ of Mr James Grey of Liohfield Btreet east, had out ber tlroat at tho house of her employer, and vas in a dying oondition. He at once hastened to the houae, and found the unfortunate v oman lying on the floor in an upper room « ith a fearful gash in her throat, the windpipe and two of the main arteries being oivided. The razor with wbioh the deed bad been committed was lying by her side on the floor in a pool of blood. Tbe sergeant at once sent for Dr Park, but tbe unfortunate young woman only lived about 20 minutes after the sergeant's arrival. Mr Grey states that bo wae called up by his little boy a few minutes after 7 o'olock, who told him that the servant was lying on the floor and bleeding from the neck. Ho went upstairs at once and found the woman as deaoribed. It appears that for some littlo time past she had been in a deepondent oondition and was being attended by Dr Doylo. Sho had been in Mr Grey's service for about three years, and was about 30 years of age. Tho body was removed to tho morgue, where an inquest will be held upon it this afternoon.
