OBINTEAL 0.0. v. SUNWySIDJB! O.a Tho return xnatoh botweon the Central Oriokot Club and the Sunnyeido 0.0. took place on Deo. 27 (Boxing Pay). The raatoh was played op the Asylum ground, and re* suited in another viotory for the latter Olub, who beat their opponents in one innings ana five runs to spafe.' Tho weather was most disagreeable. It rained heavily during the Centrals' first innuigs. Had tho weather been fine, the. scores would probably hare been muoh larger. Iho bowling of Hawthorn, Fhnt, andSearle for the Centrals was very good, and the Centrals' fielding was particularly noticeable. Fago and Seager for the Sunnyside eleven bowled in first-class stylo, the former especially, being dead on the wicket. A scratch match was played directly after the first match was concluded, when the Centrals scored 67 and the Sunnysido Eleven 86, the former thus beating by thirty- one runs. Mr H. E. Nathan was kind enough to offer a handsome eleotro-plated oup for the highest scorer on either side) which was won by Mr Page, Captain of the Sunnyaide team, with a score of thirteen. During the afternoon the Asylum, Band enlivened the proceedings by cdntributtng,in a most admirable manner, some excellent music.
