[Peb Aholo-Austbalian Peess Telegeaph AaENor.l Wellington, July 31. The Now Zealand Steam Company's steamers were put up at auction, at noon to-day, in ono lot. Mr John Martin started with an independent bid of £55,000. There was no other offer, and the Company bought them in at £75,000.
