Melbouene, March 19. Breadstuffs are without alteration. Sales of wheat have been made up to 6b 6£d. Oats are very scarce, and much wanted, at 5s Gd for feeding, and 5s 8d for seed. There have been large sales of brandies — Hennessy's, at 93 6d ; Otard's, at 8s 2d — owing to advices of short shipments. Cameron's tobaccos are in better request. Speculative business in candles has resulted in the sale of several thousand boxes, at full rates. Teas and sugars are quiet. New Zealand four per cents, are obtainable at £91 ; Bank of New Zealand shares are wanted, at £16 10s.
