Posted at any post-offlce witbin the colony for delivery at such post-office :— Not exceeding balf-an-ounce... ld. Exceeding half-an-ounce, but not exceeding one ounce ... 2d. For every balf ounce or fraction of half an ounce ... Id. H.—NEW ZEALAND LETTEBS. Posted at any office within the colony for delivery at or from any other post-office within the colony : — Not exceeding half-an-ounce... 2d. Exceeding half-an ounce, but not exceeding one ounce ... 4d. For every half ounce or fraction of half an ounce ... ... 2d. To the United Kingdom. Letters addressed to officers serving on board any of her Majesty's ships on a foreign station, when sent through tbe United Kingdom, are chargeable as follows :— Same as the general public. POST-OFFICE SAVINGS BANK AND MONEY ORDKRS, AND GOVERNMKNT ANNUITIES AND INSURANCE. Offices at Christchurch, Lyttelton, Kaiapos, Timaru, Temuka, Waimate, and Kowaii Open from 9 a.m. till 4 p.m. The commission charged on Money Order, issued within New Zealand is as follows :— For any sum Not exceeding £5 6d Not exceeding £10 ls Od On the Australian Colonies — For any sum not exceeding £5 lsOd Above £5 and not exceeding £10 2s Od And on the United Kingdom the charges are — For sums not exceeding £2, ls Od „ „ £5, 2&.6 d „ „ £7, 3s 6d „ „ £10, 5s Od No single order issued for a larger amount than £10. Full information as to form of application for a Money Order, &c, will be supplied to the public on application at any Money Order Office. The Government, through the agenoy of the Post office, grant Annuities, immediate or deferred, Life Insurance, &c, &c. NEWSPAPER. From any part of the colony to and otber part of the colony Id.
