POST-OFFICE NOTICE.

A Late Letter Box has been fixed at the Christchurch Railway Station, in which letters for ship mails, bearing the usual late fee, can be posted until within five minutes of the departure of the train taking the mails. On and after this date, the rate of postage on letters posted at any office in the colony for delivery from any other office in the colony, is twopence the half ounce. If for delivery at the office at which posted, the rate, is one penny per half ounce
