THE "MINISTERIAL CEISIS." The Provincial Council met at noon to-day. Mr Jollie announced that in consequence of last night's vote, on the amendment proposed by Mr Cox, the Government had placed their resignations in the hands of his Honor the Superintendent, and that Mr Cox had been " Bent for " to form a Ministry. Colonel Brett protested, that it was unparliamentary and unconstitutional, and contrary to the usuages of the House, to send for Mr Cox and not the mover of the original resolution (Mr Kennaway). Mr Tosswill maintained that the Superintendent had the power of sending for whom he pleased. Mr Cox announced that he had been " sent for " and aßked to accept the office of Provincial Secretary, and form a new Government, but that he had declined to do so. Thereupon, Mr Kennaway bad been " sent for." Mr Kenuaway said he had undertaken the task of forming a new Government. After some discussion, the Council adjourned until Tuesday next. Ifc is rumoured that the new Government will consist of Messrs Kennaway, Knight, Covrlishaw, and the Hon. J. Hall.
