Hawkins; 11 cases, 1 parcel books, &c, H. Lake; 2 qr-tierces tobacco, L. K. Nathan and Co.; 3 pkgs paper, 5 bales hops, Order; 2 cases pianos, R. J. White; 5 qr-casks wine and 28 cases fruit, F. Fisher; 2 cases drugs, C. Clarke; 1 box do, Roper; 1 case, Furhmann; 2 cases drapery, Order ; 1 case almanacs, Taylor and Co. ; 1 case planks, Abbott ; 1 case, Lewis ; 2 trusses, Press newspaper; 1 parcel, Simpson; 1 do, Hiscocks; 20 mats sugar, E. S. Dalgety and Co.

Messrs McMeckan, Blackwood and Co.'s B.s. Gothenburg cleared Port Phillip Heads late on the evening of the 24th ult., Captain Pearce having waited three h >urs in Hobson's Bay for English telegrams. The Gothenburg passed Swan Island at 5a5 p.m. on the 25th; experienced light and favourable weather from the N W. throughout the passage across, arriving at Bluff harbour at 9 p.m. on the 29th ; discharged cargo and left at 4 p.m on the 30th ; and arrived in Port Chalmers at daylight on the Ist inst. ; left at 4.50 p.m. on the 3rd ; and arrive ) in Lytteltoc harbour at 11.3.) a.m. ; experienced light winds the first part of the passage, and afterwards strong S.W. winds, accompanied with heavy hail squalls.
