This Dat. (Before C. C. Bowen, Esq., R.M., and G. Packe, Esq.) Drunkenness. — William Johnstone waa brought up in custody, charged with having been drunk and disorderly, yesterday, and it appearing that he had amused himself with throwing stones into the river, as he said, " tb kill the fish," and lifting a horse up by its hind legs, he was remanded until to-morrow, for medical examination as to the state of his mind. Embezzlement. — William Brook, on remand for this offence, was further remanded until the following day, on account of the inability of Mr T. S. Duncan, an important witness, to attend until then.
