Mails for the I'nited Kingdom, Continent of Europe, Africa, America, and the West Indies, via San Francisco, will close on Friday, ept. 2, at 11am. Newspapers at 9 a.m. '""" Mails for the Northern provinces of New Zealand will close oa Friday, Sept. 2, at 11 a.m. Late letters for all the above peaces may be posted up to 11.25 a.m. on Sept. 2. Such letters must bear the usual late fee in postage stamps. Mails for Otago and Southland will close at 9.15 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 2.
