♦ This Day. (Before Mr Justice Gresson.) His Honor sat in the Court Chambers at 11 o'clock. bs yrai. m'ci-tkbb. Mr Slater applied for an order oi adjudication, and meeting of creditors. His Honor made the order, and fixed the meeting of creditors for Angust 24, at 11 o'clock. RE HENKT SMITH. The bankrupt applied for an order fixing the date of hist examination and discharge. His Honor fixed the last examination for the 22nd Sept. LAW PBACTITI6NEBS' ACT AJTD KB HENBT SLATES. Mr Henry Slater applied for admission as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court. His Honor said he had great pleasure in admitting Mr Slater. SB NICHOLAS SMITH. The debtor applied for an order of adjudication, and meeting of creditors. Hii Honor made the order, fixing the meeting of creditors for 'the 24th August, at noon. BEGINA V. JOHN LEWIS. Mr Duncan mored for a writ of Habeas Corpus to bring up the body of John Lewis 'at the Resident Magistrate's Court, Christchurch, to answer a furthercharge of larcany. His Honor granted the writ.
