' :In the William Ackera, Montgomery and Co., agents : 875 sacks wheat, 177 do barley, 139 do oats, 41 sacks flour, 175 bags potatoes, 3 bags crushed beans, 16 kegs butter, Belcher and Fairwtather.

The barque William Ackers cleared the Customs this day .for Newcastle. McMeckan, Blackwood and Co.'s b.s Rangitoto, Captain Mackie, arrived in harbour this morning, at nine o'clock, from Melbourne, via West Coast Ports and Wellington. Left Hobson's Bay at 2 p.m. on July 21 ; cleared the heads at 4.40 p.m., and Kent's Group next day at noon, with a strong gale from the S.S.E., with heavy sea, which lasted for three days ; afterwards . light S.E and S.SE. winds until arrival at Hokitika, at 11.30 on July 27 ; left again at 4 p.m. and arrived off Greymouth at 6 p.m. ; left Greymouth at 11 a.m. next day, and experienced strong head winds until arriving in Nelson, at 10 a.m. on July 29 ; left Nelson at 9 a m. on July 31, and arrived at Wellington at 8 -p.m. same day ; left Wellington at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, and arrived as above. The Rangitoto passed the company's steamer Tararua in Hobson's Bay, and the Claud Hamilton on the morning of July 25 in lat. 40deg, 53sec, long. 161 deg. E. We are indebted to Mr Hail, purser, for files. The Rangitoto sailed for Dunedin this afternoon.
