The s.s. Maori, Captain Malcolm, arrived in harbour this morning, at 9.15, from Dunedin, ria intermediate ports. McMeckan, Blackwood and Co.'s Royal Mail steamer Claud Hamilton, having .the English Suez Mail on board, arrived in harbour this morning, at half-past nine o'clock, from Melbourne, via Bluff and Dunedin. She left Hobson's Bay at 3 p.m. on the 7th inst; passed Port Phillip Heads at 6, and Cape Shank at 8 p.m.; Swan Island was passed at 6 p.m. on the following day; experienced fine weather during the passage across; made the S.W. Cape at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, and entered Bluff harbour on the 13th, at daylight; left again at 4 p.m , and arrived at Port Chalmers at 5 a.m. on the 14th; left again on Friday at 2.45 p.m., arriving as above; experienced fine weather up the coast. We are indebted to Mr Kirk, purser, for full files. The Claud Hamilton soila on Monday for Wellington.
