A new.ly-arrived family were lately gazing at a shop window in Reckford, Illinois. Little girl: "Oh, mamma, is that an J en?" Mamma: "No, my child, that ia a howl." Father: "No, my wife and child, that is neither an 'en nor a howl, but it's a heagle, the hemblesn of this bla s ted country !"
