Mr Duncan said he had been instructed by ' the Law Society of Canterbury to apply for an order calling on John McGregor to show cause why he should not be committed to her Majesty's gaol at Lyttelton, for a contravention of the Law Practitioners Aot, he not *" being enrolled as a solictor of the Supreme Court. He (Mr Duncan) applied upon aa affidavit filed by Thomas Mackay, cab-driver. 'l An affi'Uvit had been sworn by the Registrar J to the effect that Mr McGregor had not been -'fl enrolled a solicitor of the Supreme Court. -n8 His Honor: You only seek a conditional * order? - Mr Duncan: Yes, your Honor. His Honor: I think you are entitled to it. " Order made accordingly, returnable on 3 Friday next. ; In Bankruptcy, sb thomas h. taylor.
