By the Bench: Had never seen' defendant beat his wife. The Bench said it was a matter of notoriety the disturbance* that took place in defendant's house. The attention of the Bench had been called to it In this case, defendant would hare to pay all coats, and he must understand that he would not be allowed to. ill-use his wife. If he did, the police would instantly interfere.
