The schooner Mary Jane, Captain Hay, cleared the Cnstoms on Saturday for Charleston. The schooner Canterbury, Captain Ruxton, cleared the Customs on Saturday for Wellington, and sailed yesterday. The barque John Knox, Captain Jenkins, arrived in harbour on Saturday afternoon from Sydney, via Wellington, having left the latter port on Thursday last; experienced light northerly winds during the passage. The Bchooner Rifleman left with. her. , The three-masted schooner Rifleman, Captain Griffith, arrived in harbour yesterday from Pictnn, via Wellington, having left that port on Thursday last; experienced light northerly winds. The schooner Golden Isle, Captain Macdonald, arrived in harbour on Saturday from Dunedin in ballast, having left that port on the evening of the 27th ult. with a S.W. wind, which clianged to light and variable winds to arrival. The Lady Don left Greymouth on Monday evening, April 25, at 4.30, in tow of the steam tug Despatch; at 5.30 pm. cast loose from the steamer outside the bar; coming out had to contend with a nasty sea on the bar; all that night the wind blew strong fr.)m W.S.W., which blew the inner jib completely away, although a good sail; at 6 p.m. on Tuesday evening rounded Stephens Island; at midnight met a strong southeaster and bore up for Kapiii, which roadstead was entered at daylight on Wednesday morning; found the schooner Spray and a barque, name unknown, lying there, both bound for the westward; at 9 a.m. on Thursday got underweigh with light northerly wind, arriving at Lyttelton at 11 p.m. on Saturday. The Lady Don has made her last trip to Greymouth and back in fourteen days. McMeckan, Blackwood, and Co.'s s.s. Gothenburg, Captain McLean, arrived in harbour at 10.30 a.m. yesterday from Mcl bourne, via Wellington. She cleared Port Philip Heads at 6.30 p.m. on the 21st April; experienced strong East and S.E. .winds, Arriving at Hokitika at 4 p.m. on the 27th; discharged cargo, and sailed for Nelson at 9 a.m on the 28th, aud arrived at 8 a.m. on the 29th; left at 9 p.m. the same day, and arrived at Wellington at 11 a.m. on the 3(>th; sailed at 4 p.m. the same day, and arrived at Lyttelton as above. We are indebted to Mr Norris, purser, for files. The Gothenburg sails for Dunedin this day.

The wreck of the William and Mary, schooner, as she now lies on the Kaiapoi bar, was knocked down at auction to Mr Langdowne on Saturday last for £67. It is expected that she will be got off as soon as the remainder of her cargo, consisting of timber, is discharged. Her cargo, which consisted of about 30,000 feet timber, partly in the hold of the vessel and partly on the beach, realised £34.
