The s.s. Wainui sailed for Dunedin and intermediate ports this afternoon. Thb brig Zingara arrived in harbour this moruing, from Dunedin. She brings a part cargo of sugar from the Mauritius, and is consigned to Messrs E. S. Dalgety and Co The s.s Beautiful Star, Capt Christian, arrived ia harbour this morning.f rom Nelson. She left that port on Monday night, at 10 o'clock. M' Muck an, Blackwood and Co.'s s.s. Raugitoto, Capt. Mackie, arrived in harbour this morning, at 7 o'clock, from Melbourne, via Bluff and Dunedin. The Rangitoto left Hobson's Bay at 2.50 p.m. on March 28 ; cleared the Heads at 5.25 p.m , and passed Swan Island at 6 p.m. next day. ExDerienced moderate winds from the N.E. fof the first day, then light S.W. winds and fine weather until making the Solander, when a heavy N.W. gale set in, with thick weather and rain. Passed the Solander at 6.55 a.m. on April 2, and arrived at the Bluff at 1 p.m. same day ; discharged cargo and left at 4.45 p m., aud experienced fair winds until arrival off Otago Heads, which were reached at 4 a.m. on Sunday ; remained outside until daylight ; discharged cargo, and left Port Chalmers at 1.25 p.m. on April 5, arriving as above. We are indebted to the purser for files. The Rangitoto sails for Melbourne and her usual rouud of Northern and West Coast ports, to-morrow.
